工作职责:

Requirements:
 8-10 relevant legal experience with leadership role in the last position
 Exposure to compliance matters is a must
 Experience in setting up a legal team is highly preferred
 Listed company experience preferred, familiarity with PRC laws is key
 Proven integrity and high ethical standards
 Hands on and detailed oriented
 Ability to communicate using English and Chinese (Mandarin)
 Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to influence


任职资格:

The Company

Leading education services provider. Operates in 4 countries, over 20 cities in China. We are currently looking for a candidate to build a full-function legal team. The relevant person will lead a team of two and will be the key contact of Company with external legal firms.

Responsibilities:

Licensing

 Establish procedures relating to the application and renewal of required licenses
 Oversees licensing compliance across all geographies (PRC and abroad)
 Keep business informed of any update on local regulation regarding licensing requirement
 Advise business on license compliance matters (including new offices)

Ethics and Compliance work

 Establish framework and reporting for anti-fraud, related party transaction, inside information
 Work closely with Company Secretary in ensuring the Group's compliance with the Listing Rules and all relevant corporate governance responsibilities
 Lead relevant training to management and associated roll-out
 Lead compliance investigations

Contract management

 Set up contract review framework and associated templates
 Set up chop management policy
 Roll out relevant contract policies

IP and trademarks

 Ensure company IP and trademarks are properly registered
 Handle IP disputes

Business Partnering

 Act as a business partner to the management team on legal matters including operational matters such as labor disputes, supplier disputes, refund
 Set up an outside counsel network to advise
 Work closely with outside counsel on any M&A activities

Others
 Oversees the update of Company’s corporate information including legal rep, board, business scope
 Work with external company secretary on board approval, shareholder registrar matters
